Project Description
This garden was a bare rectangle of grass with no features save the shed in the corner. The design we came up with introduced height and movement into the garden through the winding gravel path and the three wooden pergolas. We also added a large patio area near to the house and gave the area a mixture of lawn and bedding. The design was set off with red brick edging, which will soften with age and as the plants spill over from the beds. The planting scheme used in this garden included a mixture of herbaceous perennials, evergreen shrubs and bulbs, filling the garden with cool white, blue and violet colours along with the odd splash of hot red.
